Self-Help Enterprises (SHE) is seeking an entry-level Risk Coordinator passionate about safety and risk management to join our team. As a Risk Coordinator, your role will be focused on identifying, reducing, and managing company risks, ensuring timely and effective reporting, and maintaining critical insurance policies with records. Your responsibilities will include researching and identifying appropriate policies and risk coverage for SHE’s multifamily rental portfolio, along with a broad element of construction and development projects. You will also handle contract development and administration, reporting, data collection and evaluation, contract development, and fiscal management. Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, developing, and managing a comprehensive technical assistance program within the nine-county SHE service area.
  • Lead partner relationships to facilitate quotes for coverage and service that best meet existing and future property and operational needs.
  • Collect, organize, and disseminate information about regulations, grant conditions, and codes to program staff as needed for risk management.
  • Develop and process program and administrative reports as necessary.
  • Assist in administrating and developing specific programs/projects where assigned.
  • Analyze and evaluate internal processes and procedures. Develop and utilize tracking mechanisms to demonstrate program success.


Must Haves

  • Experience or introduction to understanding elements of risk management.
  • Knowledge and understanding of emerging risks in real estate and development.
  • Experience with methods, policies, and concepts to ensure exposure.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
  • Passion for outstanding customer service.
  • Ability to make quality decisions based on analysis, wisdom, experience, and judgment, including the ability to negotiate.

Pay: $5,698.00 to $7,636.00 per MONTH
