As a Loan Processor, you will focus on participant recruitment, program eligibility determination, and loan processing. Experience in real estate, commercial lending, and/or federal housing programs is preferred. You must be able to work effectively as a team member, be detail-oriented, and maintain confidentiality of information. As a Loan Processor with Self-Help Enterprises, you have the opportunity to be the first contact with hard-working Valley families looking to improve their living conditions. Bilingual English/Spanish is required.

Responsibilities:

• Recruit participants.
• Determine program eligibility.
• Process and close loans.
• Work independently and as a team member.
• Work effectively on multiple projects with tight deadlines.
• Conduct community outreach and engagement.

Must haves:

• Detail-oriented and maintain confidentiality.
• Strong computer and communication skills.
• Relate well with persons of diverse backgrounds.
• Some night and weekend work may be required.
• Notary license or ability to obtain.
• Previous experience in loan processing, mortgage lending, or financial services preferred.
• Familiarity with affordable housing programs and community development initiatives is desirable.
• Bilingual English/Spanish fluency is required.
